Weekend

Cool people, cool place, bikes, and beer, equals a damn good time. And I finally wore lucy out after day three.

Pugsly

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I picked up my pugsly frame last Thursday. It's pretty sweet. Hopefully I can get it built up in a couple of months. Off to Levis this weekend. Took off Friday, coming home on Monday. Me,the girl, and Lucy are gonna do some kayaking, trail building, and I'm gonna hit the mtb trails. I threw on the fatties on the cross check. I'm going to give that a run, and of course I'm bringing my ferrous, bob trailer, and chain saw. I've been experimenting with rigid fork and low tire pressure. I tell you what, I really dig it. Have a good one.

Weekend

A good weekend to get my legs in shape for the season. Do to my side job, and my binge, I kinda fell out of shape. Not too bad, but enough to keep me from doing the Cable Classics this weekend. I should be in prime shape for the big ring classic, but my main goal this summer is Levis. Anyway, I made it to 9 mile for the first time this year. They opened up the trails on Thursday. I got thrown down and beat up pretty good, but I had a lot of fun. It's good to have variety I guess.

Saturday: Out the door by 5:00am. Had to help Z-money(Lucas Z) pour his garage floor. Then , off to Levis to meet some people for some trail work. Got in about 4 hours of work, then went riding with some people from Madison. I had to show them good old boys what single speedin is all about, cause one of them got a little bit sassy, all in good fun. I expanded my network a little bit, which is good too.

Sunday: Out the door by 5:00am. Hittin the single track at Levis by 6:00am. Rode for a good 2 1.2 hrs. Man, I wish I could start my morning like that every day! Headed down to Point to have dinner with Brenda's family because her sister graduated college. The Sam Adams started flowing good. Grabbed a couple for the road home, and took the longer route. Stopped at a bar and continued my fun. I was asleep in Brenda's Jeep by 5:15pm. Made it in the house by 7:30pm, and still got up to start my work day at 3:30am.

Other stuff: Congratulations to Magyar for 2nd place in his age group at cable classics. Hope you guys had a good time. I will catch up with you guys some time.

what i have been doing

Well the first part of three weeks ago, I went through a binge. Binge drinking that is. And the the weekend of two weeks ago started a side job. Tear out and replace 240 feet of side walk and a 11ft 12ft driveway, which turned into an all weekend deal. Then, last week, spent worrying about getting it poured. Everything poured by Thursday, stripped and back filled and pavers set by Friday night. (Did I mention that me and DB did it all by ourselves?) Never again! Anyway, I spent Saturday morning catching up on everything I didn't get done for two weeks, and I missed Saturdays Alley Cat race in Eau Claire, which sounded like a pretty good time. Me, the girl, and Lucy went out to levis for the rest of the weekend. Did about six hours of trail work. Every time I get done working I think about what I can do next. I'm really enjoying the trail work. It's my new obsession. Sunday I went hiking with Brenda and Lucy. Lucy disappeared for a little while, and came back full of porcupine quills. All we could do was laugh at her(and of course pull the quills out). I met with Dean Glaze, and we went for a 2hr ride. For all my hard work on the trails I get free camping out at Levis for the rest of the year and pearl izumi hookup. Sweet!!!
