Hi ho hi ho off to Red Wing we go! We had an action packed weekend. Matthew and Angela's wedding, and a little bit of biking. One interesting note for the weekend is that me and Brenda made it to the all time tight wad list for not spending any money on food for the whole weekend. Here is how we did it. Friday we packed a lunch, had rehearsal dinner. Saturday we had continental breakfast (took some food for snacks), sandwiches for lunch brought for the wedding party, dinner at the wedding. Later on that night they put out ham sandwiches at the dance. I took 5 and stuffed them in Brenda's purse (I love stealing food when I'm drunk. I learned from the best(DB)). Sunday, we had continental breakfast again. As I was walking to get the car on Sunday morning, I stopped at a kwik trip and took some mayo and mustard packets for my sandwiches from the night before, which we ate on our way home for lunch.

Now for the pictures...

Goofing around in the car on the drive to Red Wing.A little Mountain bike action.
What would be a trip to Matt's house without completely rebuilding one of his bikes for him.
We decided to do the ragnarok. Well, at least 45 min of it and looped back to town. After all Matt had some important things to do today.
Ta Da Matt and Angie
Stealing sandwiches.
Story telling.
finally drunk enough to get out on the dance floor.
A long 4 mile walk back to the jeep in the morning.
Me and Brenda might be cheap for not spending any money on food but, Chris and Brett take the cake. They rode their bikes from Eau Claire to Red Wing, and hitched a ride on the way back. Awesome! This is our 2nd attempt to strap 4 bikes down on top of the jeep with only 1 strap. I bet nobody else who had these high quality bikes would attempt this.

Have a good one!

I am a suck for the ice cream, and lover of the root beer float. Especially after a night of hills at levis.

Headed to Levis on Saturday to do a "trail inspection". Move some down trees, but more important, the riding was awesome. There are hardly any wet spots, and should be in excellent shape(if it does not rain a bunch) by the time they official open.
Still some snow on north face. Cool looking tree.

Of course the peace of Levis is almost the best part.
Today I did some exploring. Headed out to McMillan Marsh. I was not disappointed. It's a gravel/grass road mix. Could probably get a good 2 hrs of riding with cool scenery and no traffic. I can't believe I have never checked this out until now. Sometimes I am so ignorant about things.
Check out my 1x10 poprad. Hell yeah!
